FIFA Tournament Format – Business Esports
Our Online FIFA Tournament Format offers teams the chance to bond and compete remotely through FIFA 20 & FIFA 21 while supporting their chosen charity. Team entrants will be able to stay socially distanced during the Business Esports competitions and full rules can be found on our website here.
Business Esports is open to anyone with an Xbox or Playstation console with FIFA 20 or 21. Entries are now open for the January Corporate FIFA tournament which kicks off on Tuesday 19th January for colleagues of between 4- 6 players to form a team and enter under their company name. Individuals or pairs can be paired up to play with others in similar positions.
Registration is now open for the January tournament and 10% of revenue will then be donated to the winning companies chosen charity.

JANUARY EVENT TIMINGS:
Games will be played during the evenings to minimise disruption to normal working hours and kick off times will be staggered to suit daily schedules. Fixtures commence on Tuesday 19th January and the knock out phase will begin on Thursday 21st January.
Tuesday 19th – Thursday 21st January: Group Matches 18:00 Kick Off
Friday 22nd: Knockouts and Finals Night 18:00 Kick Off
Round Robin Corporate FIFA tournament format
Teams of 4 play in an initial round-robin group stage to gauge skill levels before the tournament then progresses into 2 separate knock out phases winners of which will progress on to the Semi Final and latterly to the Final.
All team members must have access to the same brand of console either an Xbox or PlayStation and have a copy of FIFA 20 or 21 installed with an Xbox Gold or PSN Plus account. Companies may submit 2 teams i.e. an Xbox team of 4 and a Playstation team of 4.
Definitions
A ‘match’ will see company teams of 4 players playing against each other.
A ‘fixture’ is one 12 minute FIFA game.
Each match will consist of 16 fixtures with each participant playing one fixture against each of the opposing 4 participants.
This equates to 4 fixtures per participant per evening in each match.
The outcome of a single match is determined by the aggregate score of the 16 individual fixtures
The exact FIFA Tournament format will be finalised and communicated with all entrants when the format has been finalised and the fixtures have been decided on. Every player is responsible for keeping up to date with their own fixtures.
Price
£250 + VAT per team entry
Business Esports entry includes tournament management, access to our live chat, networking and branding opportunities, matchday brochure, live scoring system, virtual trophy presentation and a 10% charity donation.

Spring 2020 FIFA Tournament
After 640 fixtures and 3397 goals the April 20 FIFA Tournament winners were Drummond Central and Kingsway Claims on the PS4 and Xbox respectively, they made their winning £250 donations to the North East Ambulance Service and Take Away the Tears respectively.
