March Call of Duty tournament format

Each match will consist of up to 3 rounds, map 1 is Search & Destroy, a second round of Hardpoint with the third Team Deathmatch round acting as the deciding round should it be required. The rounds will be played in a custom playlist with the maps chosen by each team alternately i.e. Team A chooses the map for the first Round and Team B chooses the map for the Second Round.  Each team will get a map veto that will apply to both rounds.

Captains should make contact, begin adding each other through Activision, and discuss reschedules if necessary.

There will be two stages: Initial group stage section where teams are awarded 3 points for a win and 1 point for a draw.  The tournament will then progress into separate tiered knockout stages, Elite and Prestige Sections.  The format will be announced before the tournament begins when we know the exact number of teams. The tournament format section will be updated along with an announcement email for all captains.

Activision ID’s for team captains will be found in the match fixtures posted in the Discord before the matches.

The March Call of Duty Tournament will take place over 5 evenings with matches commencing at 6pm on match days which will be 2 league matches per evening on Tuesday 23rd, Wednesday 24th and Thursday 25th and Knockouts and Finals night on Tuesday 30th & Wednesday 31st.  Each team will have a minimum of 2 matches per evening and all match fixtures will be announced when the tournament is finalised.

All team members must have access to either an Xbox One, PC or PlayStation 4 and have a copy of either Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019 or Black Ops Cold War installed with an Xbox Gold or PSN Plus account. Companies may submit multiple teams.

Team size required will be 4 players. Teams must have a minimum of 3 players to avoid forfeit. 3 vs 4 is allowed if you choose to play, team captains may both also agree to play 5 vs 5. Full rules can be found on our website here.
