May Warzone Tournament

The Business Esports Warzone Tournaments run online from the comfort of players homes. Full rules can be found on our website here.

Business Esports Warzone tournament is cross-platform and open to anyone with an Xbox, PC or Playstation console.

Registration is now open for the May tournament and 10% of revenue will then be donated to the winning companies chosen charity.

Entries are now open for colleagues of 4-players (subs optional) to form a team and enter under their company name.  Individuals or pairs can be paired up to play with others in similar positions and companies can submit multiple teams.

MAY EVENT TIMINGS:

Games will be played during the evenings to minimise disruption to normal working hours.

League Format over 4 evenings:

Tuesday 18th, Wednesday 29th,  Thursday 20th & Friday 21st

May Warzone Tournament Format

Each game night will consist of 60 minutes of public lobby play in your team of four where you report your highest scoring rounds and finish with a private lobby Battle Royale Survival with all teams taking part.

The Tournament will take place over 4 evenings with game nights commencing at 6pm.

League Points will be allocated based on a weighted scoring system between kills and placement in the Battle Royales and teams with the most cash in Plunder with maximum points for the winners and a sliding scale points allocation system thereafter. i.e. if there is 15 teams involved, first place will gain 15 points, second will gain 14, 3rd will gain 13 points and so on.  The league format will be announced before the season begins when we know the exact number of teams.

The tournament format section will be updated along with an announcement email for all captains.  Activision ID’s for team captains will be found in the match fixtures posted on our website and in the Discord before the matches.

All team members must have access to either an Xbox One, PC or PlayStation 4 and have a copy of Call of Duty: Warzone installed with an Xbox Gold or PSN Plus account. Companies may submit multiple cross-platform teams.

Definitions

Tournament size:  Min 13 Max 25 Teams, spaces allocated on a first come first-served basis.

Each Game Night will see company teams of 4 players playing against multiple opposing companies also of 4 players.

In the opening 60 minutes players will join public lobbies recording their best score in Battle Royale Most Kills and Plunder.

The Private lobby will be a Battle Royale Survival.

League Points will be allocated using a sliding scale scoring system and maximum points will be awarded to the team with most kills in Round 1,  for Plunder it will be teams with the most cash and top placement in the Battle Royale Survival.

Price

Business Esports entry includes tournament management with dedicated responsive admins, access to our live chat, live scoring system, networking and branding opportunities such as backlinks from your logo to your website, player profiles with links to your LinkedIn profiles included in tournament schedule page, and a 10% charity donation.

£250 + VAT per team entry

The format will be announced before the season begins when we know the exact number of teams. The tournament format section will be updated regularly and every player is responsible for keeping up to date with their own fixtures.

The main thing to remember is to play with respect for your opponent and fellow players.
