With £500 worth of donations on offer and 3 qualifying spots for the National Final up for grabs there was a lot to play for.  Off the pitch, Norton Rose Fulbright picked up the first trophy by raising £550 for MIND before the football began with ITPS coming in a very close second with a fantastic £430 raised for Mental Health Matters.

A strong run going undefeated lead Nigel Wright to the Champions League semi-final where they finally met their match as Metnor Construction won 1-0 and secured their spot in the final.

Metnor went on to face DAC Beachcroft after they beat Mandata and both teams secured their qualifying spot for the National Final taking place on Tuesday 18th October in Leeds.

Led by player of the match Rizwan Shahid, DAC Beachcroft won a £350 donation for Cancer Connections and were crowned the new Newcastle champions after a 3-0 scoreline against Metnor in the final.

In the Europa League semi-finals Curtis Gabriel found their scoring form in their match against Lambert Smith Hampton as they won 4-0. They went on to play Black & White Engineering after their 7-1 victory against mkodo.

Black & White Engineering bagged the final qualification spot as well as a £150 donation for The NUFC Foundation after their 3-2 victory in the final.
