The annual Esports Tournament for the London insurance community

Welcome to the 2022 Superscript Charity Esports Tournament page. After the success of our inaugural event in 2022 we are hosting charity Warzone and FIFA tournaments, to bring the London insurance community together, in support of upReach and other charities to bolster the £3,781 raised for various charities at last years event.

Winners of the tournament will be crowned Superscript Charity Esports Tournament Champions. The charity donation will be split between upReach and the charities chosen by the winning teams of each of the Warzone and FIFA tournament sections.

Highlights:

GamesWarzone and FIFA.

Game Nights – 19:00 – 21:00
Wednesdays 19th and 26th January & Finals Night 2nd February 2022.

Platform – Crossplay enabled. Warzone is open to PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox Series X and Xbox One players.  There is 2 separate strands to FIFA Tournament, Xbox and PlayStation and all team members must have access to the same brand of console.

Teams – Companies can enter up to four teams for each game, consisting of four players plus one substitute for Warzone or FIFA.

Captains – A team captain should be nominated to communicate on behalf of your team.

Format and Fixtures – League formats for Warzone and FIFA will be available once the draw has taken place, on Monday 17th January 2022.

Communications – Team captains will be emailed joining instructions once they have entered their team, and all in-game communication between team captains and tournament admins will take place on the Superscript Esports Discord. A link to join will be sent once teams have signed up.

Once the tournament is live, you will find your opponents’ Activision IDs & Gamertags in the worksheets at the bottom of the page.

To find your fixtures, click on the relevant worksheet, and on the bottom left-hand corner to find your relevant group.  For example, to find your fixtures for Group B, click on the ‘Group B’ worksheet.

To find your current standings, navigate to the relevant fixture worksheet to find your group table.

The scores will be updated live as we receive the confirmed results from team captains, and you can check here to keep up to date with your team’s progress by refreshing the page.

Players must be familiar with the rules before taking part and you can find these here for Warzone and here for FIFA.

WHO’S IN?

Join us for some gaming fun in support of charity!

The tournament is open to all London insurance and reinsurance companies, brokers, adjusters, law firms, insurtechs and any businesses involved in the insurance ecosystem.

The entry cost is £250 + VAT per team, with all profits from team entries and sponsorship distributed to the winning companies’ chosen charities. Entry includes tournament management with dedicated responsive admins, access to our dedicated Discord Server, live scoring system, networking and branding opportunities such as player profiles with links to your LinkedIn profiles included on this page.

To sign up, please submit your details below and from there you will be emailed an entry form to fill in your players’ details and nominate a chosen charity. Once this is returned, you will be sent an invoice with the option to pay online or by BACS.

Entries close on Tuesday 9th March 2021 at 17:00.

To find all the fixtures, click on the relevant worksheet on the bottom tab of the spreadsheet to find your group.  For example, a player in Group A would click on the ‘Thurs 19 Group A’ worksheet to find their teams fixtures for Wednesday 19th Jan .

The fixtures for each evening are detailed in the below sheets under your group.

The Group A worksheet is open by default with time and date outlined on there for your matches you then you must navigate to the relevant fixture worksheet to find your fixtures.
